Snook Alone is a book about Abba Jacobs and his dog Snook. Snook and Abba Jacobs get to go on an adventure, but a storm brings the two apart. Snook is left alone to fend for himself.
The illustrations in Snook Alone are very descriptive. The illustrations really help to make you feel like you are there. The book is very life like because of the drawings. The illustrations of the journey is absolutely beautiful.
This book is could be used in the Second grade. This book could be used to encourage children to face their fears, and to have determination. I think it is important for children to realize the importance of having determination at a young age.
